artist statement 07.09.17
Why can’t painting be poetry and complex or a story that
tell on itself and not something that is a medium for a political statement or
some sort of psychological clearing out and answer.
Why does the painting have to be an answer not a question?
Why does the painting have to tell people what to think in
stead of doubting on our existence?
Why can’t the artists let the colors and her
habits/experiences drag her into forms?
I am a painter who loves to paint and I don’t want to
destroy that.
Does the painter always have to be in crisis?
